EDWARD FEHR
1935 - 2007
Edward William Fehr of Taber, beloved husband of Mary Fehr, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the age of 71 years.
Ed leaves to mourn his passing his wife Mary; children Bonnie Fehr, Randy (Bev) Fehr, Carol Visser, Terry (Ed) Stolk, Greg (Suzanne) Fehr and Susan (Paul) Loewen; son-in-law Ken Visser; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Hilda (Bill) Braun; brother Arthur (Sara) Fehr as well as numerous other relatives.
He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Helen; mother & father-in-law Frank and Helen Loewen; sister Irene Galambos and sister-in-law Ann Scutt.
Ed was born in Rosthern, Saskatchewan on October 27, 1935. He married Mary Loewen of Mayfair, Saskatchewan and together they raised six children. He was a hard worker and was employed with Wallace & Akins and Stuart & Olson working on such projects as the Duncan Dam, Old Man River bridge, LCC gym and many others. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, October 18, 2007 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the First Christian
Reformed Church, Corner of Hackney Drive and Highway 36, Taber on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ron Gartly of the Evangelical Free Church officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
