Albin Prus

1935 - 2015

Albin Andrew Prus, beloved husband of the late Ellen Prus, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the age of 80 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

A private burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Albin is survived by his children Alan (Kris) Prus of Cranbrook, British Columbia, James (Carla) Prus of Coaldale and Carolyn (Todd) Maruyama of Taber; grandchildren Janessa Wesley, Lauren Wesley (Camilo Andres) and Kendra Wesley; Jolayne, Connor and Carson Prus; Brendan Maruyama (Demi Berube) and Coltyn Maruyama (Hayley Campbell); Lynnzee (Kamron) Jackson; great granddaughters Lilly Leacock and Kemara Jackson. He is also survived by his sisters Zita (Frank) Tinordi and Mary Gajdostik; sisters-in-law Ida Prus and Maria Prus as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Albin was predeceased by his wife Ellen Prus; daughter Linda Wesley; parents Michael and Elizabeth Prus; brothers Carl Prus and Ladislav Prus; sisters Jolana Prus, Elizabeth Tomcala, Margaret McMillan and Anne Hrycoy; brothers-in-law Josef Tomcala, Frank Gajdostik and John Hrycoy.
