1937 - 2014

Margaret Rempel, beloved wife of Abe Rempel of Vauxhall, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at the age of 77 years surrounded by her family.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Bethel Evangelical Free Church, 504 - 3 Avenue, Vauxhall on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private burial service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery prior to the funeral service on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
The Funeral Service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ken Easterbrook officiating.
She is survived by Abe, her loving husband of fifty seven years as well as their children Robert Rempel of Lethbridge, Harry Rempel of Calgary, James (Bev) Rempel of Crossfield, Dorothy (Darrell) Milligan of Trail, British Columbia, John (Jean) Rempel of Taber, Teresa (Don) Cavanaugh of Lethbridge and Arthur (Shirley) Rempel of Coaldale; she will be remembered by seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Kay Haggith of Bellingham, Washington, David (Marj) Riediger of Medicine Hat, Lydia White of Wetaskiwin, Mary (John) Row of Prince George, British Columbia, Korny (Dorothy) Riediger of Quesnel, British Columbia, Shirley (Dean) Bengry of Lethbridge and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Tony Wayne Rempel, her parents Netta (nee Isaac) and David Riediger and by her brother Jake Riediger.
Margaret was born in Vauxhall on January 30, 1937. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family and friends as well as quilting, crocheting, baking, canning, gardening and she expecially loved the farm.
