1937 - 2013

Patricia Ann Valgardson passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the age of 76 years.
A private funeral service for family and close friends was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. A private burial service attended by family, followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Lethbridge Country Club, 101 Country Club Road South, Lethbridge (access is adjacent to the main entrance of Mountain View Cemetery at Scenic Drive South) on Saturday, October 19, 2013 between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Patti is survived by her children Jennifer Valgardson of Taber, Brad (Tammi) Parker of Coaldale, Sylvia Jensen of Brooks, Perry Parker of Calgary, Sheri Parker of Taber, Debi (Larry) Barnwell of Bozeman, Montana, Kevin (Karen) Valgardson of Lethbridge and also by Debbie and Kevin’s father Garry Valgardson of Taber; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Connie (Wally) Evdokimoff of Lethbridge, Richard (Lione) Jensen of Taber and by numerous nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her puppies, Bell and Tigger.
She was predeceased by her parents Sylvan and Annie Jensen, son-in-law Edwin Valgardson and by the father of her children, Ken Parker.
Patti was born in Lethbridge October 2, 1937. She resided her entire life in Southern Alberta.
Patti enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren and held a special place in her heart for her seven great grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and gardening and loved her beautiful flowers. She took great pride in her yard and her home, always decorating for special occasions and holidays. Patti spent her later years attending sporting events in support of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed but forever remembered and held dearly in the hearts of her family.
