1912 - 2013

Katarina Pyrch, beloved wife of the late Olie Pyrch, passed away in Taber on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the age of 100 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street SW, Medicine Hat on Saturday, October 12, 2013 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.
The Burial Service followed at Hillside Cemetery, Medicine Hat at 11:00 A.M.
Katie is survived by two children, son Bill (Anna) Pyrch of Taber and daughter Kay (Peter) Paul of Vernon, British Columbia; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Olie Pyrch in 1963, their son Johnny Pyrch in 1947 and by her ten siblings and their spouses.
Katie was born in Kopernik, Alberta on October 12, 1912. She married Onvfry Alex “Olie” Pyrch August 5, 1928. Following Olie’s passing, Katie made Camrose and later Taber, her home.
