FRANK DONKERBROEK

1966 - 2013

Frank Donkerbroek of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by his brothers and loving sister-in-law at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the age of 46 years, the result of tragic single motorcycle accident.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 12, 2013 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Kuyper officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Frank is survived by his father Albert Donkerbroek of Taber, brothers Glenn (Danielle) Donkerbroek of Pigeon Lake and Kevin Donkerbroek of Drayton Valley, sister Grace Donkerbroek of Lethbridge as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother Coby Donkerbroek.
Frank was born in Taber on November 15, 1966 to Albert and Coby Donkerbroek. He was raised and schooled in Taber, graduating from WR Myers High School. Following high school he attended Olds College where he received his mechanics certificate. Frank is remembered as a role model to his brothers, Glenn and Kevin.
He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and childhood friends as well as riding his motorcycle and hauling heavy loads. Frank is already deeply missed by family and close friends. It was a privilege to be his friend and he will be remembered as a big brother to all.
