ELSE KOECK

1920 - 2013

Else Anna Koeck, beloved wife of the late Frank Koeck, passed away in Coaldale on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the age of 93 years.
The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating.
Else is survived by her son Gerhard (Bev) Koeck of Hays and his children Jackie (Greg) Davis of Regina, Lisa (Tom) Devoe of Grande Cache and Dan Sedore of Grande Cache; daughter Annamarie Behrens of Hope, British Columbia and her children John (Sarah) Behrens of Hope, British Columbia, Rose (Chris) Young of Calgary, Monica (Rod) Wombold of Calgary, Richard (Lisa) Behrens of Charlie Lake, British Columbia and Bob (Lisa) Behrens of Ponoka as well as numerous great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Koeck and son-in-law Dick Behrens.
Else was born in Atzendorf, Germany on January 5, 1920. She married Frank Koeck and together with their children they immigrated to Canada in 1951, settling in Hays.
Else enjoyed many things including traveling, hunting, fishing, gardening, dancing, amusement park rides and baking, especially strudel kuchen. She also loved farming and spending time visiting with company. Else will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
