WALTER ENDO

1942 - 2000

Walter Kenji Endo, beloved husband of Ayako Endo, passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at the age of 57 years.
Walter was born the son of Frank and Kesami Endo on the Heggie Farm near Raymond on September 13, 1942. He started school in Stirling and continued his education in Taber. He farmed with his family and later with his two brothers as (Endo Brothers) mixed farming with cattle ranching as well.
Walter was predeceased by his parents Frank and Kesami Endo and an infant brother Jack Yashio.
He is survived by his loving wife Ayako and his son Kenneth; two sisters, Ruth Endo and Amy Powell; two brothers Roy and George; a nephew Derek Powell; two nieces, Norma Powell and Tammy (Les) Harkness and a grand-niece Sonya Kesami.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, August 24, 2000 from 8:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 25, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor George Takashima officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
