ELIZABETH REUBER

1914 - 2000

Elizabeth (Liz) Reuber of Bow Island, beloved wife of the late Henry Reuber, passed away in Bow Island on Friday, May 19, 2000 at the age of 85 years.
Liz was born August 2, 1914 in Vranovaczs, Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada in 1928. She lived in Manyberries, Alberta until her marriage.
She was predeceased by her husband Henry; parents Wilhelm and Elizabeth Schmidt and two sisters Minnie Rath and Katie Kreil.
Liz will be dearly missed by her daughter Esther (Tony) Schlachter and their children Richard (Kathy) Schlachter and Kirstin and Jeff; Barry (Karen) Schlachter and Kyle, Jordan and Caleb; Alan (Wendy) Schlachter and David, Levi, Alex and Matthew; Greg (Jackie) Schlachter and Lucas and Judy Schlachter and her finance Lorne Chrystal; her son Herman (Rose) Reuber and their daughters Denise and Melanie Reuber; five sisters Karline Heck of Kitchener, Ontario, Mary Durr and Barbara Lutz of Medicine Hat and Freda Rath and Christina Stimson of Brooks.
The Funeral Service was held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Bow Island on Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Gary Aicken officiating. Burial followed at the Bow Island Cemetery.
