SHANE TAYLOR

1977 - 2001

Shane William Taylor, beloved son of Mrs. Arlie Taylor and the late Mr. Lewis Taylor, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at the age of 24 years.
Shane was born the son of Lewis and Arlie Taylor on August 5, 1977 in Taber. He received his schooling in Taber graduating from High School in 1995. Following graduation Shane gained employment with D.A. Electric where he has worked for the past 5 years and was currently apprenticing as an electrician. Shane was well known for his competitive nature and enjoyed all sports. In the spring months he would take out his ball glove and get ready for the baseball season to start and in the fall his hockey equipment would come out and he would prepare for another hockey season in the Taber Commercial Men’s League.
Shane will be sadly missed and forever cherished by his mother, Arlie of Taber; three sisters, Shauna of Calgary, Sheila of Lethbridge and Shari of Red Deer; his maternal grandfather, Marvin Bowman as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his father Lewis; an infant sister Shannon; his maternal grandmother, Jean Bowman and his paternal grandparents, William and Merle Taylor.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Aveue, Taber on Thursday, December 13, 2001 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
