MARY CSIKI

1924 - 2001

Mary Csiki of Taber, beloved wife of the late Alex Csiki, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2001 at the age of 77 years.
Mary was born in Kiralymezo, Hungary on July 30, 1924. She married Alex Csiki on November 20, 1947 and two years later immigrated to Canada from Austria settling in the Turin area. In 1957 they moved to the Taber area where they have resided ever since.
Mary will be forever remembered by her children Annie (Walter) Ankermann of Iron Springs, Matilda Visser of Lethbridge and Gloria (John) Sinclair of Taber; six grandchildren David (Katie) Ankermann, Sandy (Jim) Neels, Tony (Kim) Ankermann, Angie Ankermann, Tania Visser and Jason Sinclair; six great grandchildren Ashley and Wesley Neels, Mitchell, Nicholas and Lucas Ankermann and Haylee Ankermann.
She was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1998.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, August 23 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Father Jim de los Angeles Celebrant. Burial followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
