It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jaire Joan Rombough in Taber on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at the age of 44 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Patrick Furtado SAC, Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Jaire was the proud mother of three sons Riley (Justine) Rombough, Zach Murray, Joshua Murray and the loving grandmother of Kash Rombough, all of Taber. She will also be lovingly remembered by her parents Gerald and Marie Rombough of Taber; brother Ryan (Tammy) Rombough of Taber and their daughters Jaidee, Tori and Jazzy; sister Bona (Kevin) Schmidt of Hays and their sons Blake and Justin; brother Butch Rombough of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles and cousins Gary (Margaret) Rombough and children Blair (Dianne) Rombough, Mark (Michelle) Rombough and Lisa (Brent) Lehman; Richard (Chris) Rombough and children Amanda Rombough and Lee (Jamie) Rombough; Sheila (Tommy) Broussard and children Dwayne (Vickki) Rombough, Brittney Rombough (Richard Brown) and Daniel Broussard; Sharon (Doug) Craik; Bruce (Faye) Christensen and children Brent (Danielle) Christensen and Mark Christensen; Barb (Terry) Kerkhoff and children Kent Kerkhoff and Kyle Kerkhoff; David Christensen. Jaire will also be remembered by cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Archie and Vivian Rombough and Howard and Verna Christensen, uncle Blair Rombough and aunt Patricia Christensen.
Jaire was born on February 29, 1968 in Taber and just celebrated her “eleventh” birthday this year. She received all her schooling in Taber at St. Pat’s and St. Mary’s graduating in 1985, the same year she was crowned Taber Rodeo Queen. Jaire was active in 4-H Horse Club and the Taber Roping Club. She obtained her PCA certificate and worked at the Alfred Egan Home and Taber Extended Care. She received her hairdressing certificate and worked at Headlines and then went on to various jobs including time keeper at Lamb Weston, eventually going back to her first love of nursing and was employed as a PCA with the Good Samaritans Society’s Linden View facility at the time of her passing.
