Rowena Leila Stewart, beloved wife of Russell Stewart of Lethbridge, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the age of 50 years.
A private family service will be held.
Besides her loving husband Russell, she is survived by her children Marla Stewart of Lethbridge and Wesley Stewart (fiancee Melissa Krystal) of Lethbridge; brothers Will (Maureen) Larson of Lethbridge and Gord (Carrie) Larson of Magrath; sister Christine Larson of Magrath; father and mother-in-law Carlton and Barbara Stewart of Lethbridge; brother-in-law Dave (Dana) Stewart of Spruce Grove; very special friend Ted Anctil; her dogs Oscar and Scotty as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Willard and Roberta Larson.
Row was born on August 15, 1961 and was raised and educated in Lethbridge. She married Russell Stewart on July 25, 1981. Together they raised their family in Lethbridge, where Row has resided until the time of her passing.
Row was a manager at the Bay where she worked for many years. While there she received her human resources certificate, something she was very proud of. More recently she was employed with Southern Monument as a stencil and graphics artist.
Row enjoyed travelling, going to the beach and writing poetry. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. Row was looking forward to her son’s upcoming wedding and grandkids. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
