Flora was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Flora and Fritz served a mission for the LDS church in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989. They later served in the Cardston, Alberta Temple for five years and both she and Fritz especially loved the seven years in which they provided weekly lunches to the Lethbridge College Institute students. Anyone who knew Flora quickly knew she was a fastidious housekeeper, baked the best cinnamon buns and was immensely proud of her family.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Flora’s name may be made directly to the Lethbridge Cancer Clinic in care of the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, 960 - 19 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 1W5.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Cal Stewart, Dr. Anthony Gomes and Dr. David Holland for their service on behalf of their mother.
