ANDRE CHARBONNEAU
1931 - 2004
Mr. Andre Guy Charbonneau of Vauxhall, beloved husband of Mrs. Ghislaine Charbonneau, passed away in Taber on Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the age of 72 years.
Andre was born at Rosemere, Quebec on November 21, 1931 where he received his schooling and later helped his father on the family dairy farm. In 1969 he came to Alberta settling in Picture Butte where he worked for Haney Farms. They moved to Falher, Alberta where they purchased their own farm then moved to Millet in 1981 and in 1988 to Vauxhall where they have resided since.
Besides his loving wife Ghislaine, he is survived by his sons Marcelin (Karrie) of Millet, Alberta and Eric (Dolly) of Vauxhall; five grandchildren Megan, Tyler, Benjamine, Hailey and Kara; his brothers and sisters Marguerite Chalifoux, Cecile Sauriol, Lucille Ouimet, Marie-Claire Martin, Juliette Ouimet, Reina Goyer, Diana Desjardins, Leo-Paul (Claire) Charbonneau and Edouard (Angele) Charbonneau.
He was predeceased by three siblings Aurore Lavoic, Lucien and Catherine.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel (5006-48 Ave.) Taber on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (324-2 Ave. N.) Vauxhall on Tuesday, February 10 at 1:00 P.M. with Father Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Cremation to follow.
