1938 - 2004

Eva Dorothy Comm, beloved wife of Bob Comm of Calgary, passed away in Calgary on  Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the age of  66 years.  
Eva was born at Medicine Hat, Alberta on February 13, 1938 to William and Clara Phillips. She was raised and received her schooling at Bow Island, graduating in 1956. Eva moved to Calgary where she attended Mount Royal College and later worked at the Calgary Herald. She spent 31 years with the Calgary Board of Education. Her joy in life was her family, shopping and especially spending time with her mother.  
Eva is survived by her husband Bob of Calgary; two children James Comm and Ellen (Darren) Muhlbeier of Calgary; brothers and sister Bud (Kay) Phillips of Lethbridge, Eileen Berg of Taber and Harley (Kathleen) Phillips of Taber; special niece Darla Ell of Cochrane; sister-in-law Lois Phillips of Taber; brother-in-law Earle Herbert of Lethbridge and also by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 
She was predeceased by her parents William and Clara Phillips, sister Ethel-Mae Herbert, brother Bob, sister Shirley in infancy and a nephew Mark.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel (5006-48 Ave.) Taber on Sunday, February 22, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Eva's life will be held at St. Theodore's Anglican Church, 5120-44 Ave., Taber on Monday, February 23, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Canon Allan McCuaig officiating. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
