CHRISTINE ELL

1922 - 2001

Christine Irene Ell, beloved wife of the late Leo Ell, passed away in Hanna, Alberta on Monday, July 9, 2001 at the age of 79 years.
Christine was born in Foremost on January 1, 1922 the daughter of David and Catherine Fritz. She married Leo Ell on November 4, 1940 and in 1949 they moved from Bow Island to Taber.
Christine will be forever missed by her sons Gordon (Kathy) Ell of Edmonton, Allan (Lavern) Ell of Cold Lake, Dale (Jacquie) Ell of Starbuck, Manitoba and Tim (Gale) Ell of Hanna; daughters-in-law Coral and Karmin; grandchildren Lorinda, Melanie, Natasha, Jason, Denise, Curtis, Tyler, Serena, Susan, Gerry, Julie and Monica; brothers Gus (Shirley) Fritz of Pincher Creek, Dave (Ethel) Fritz of Taber and Ron (Linda) Fritz of Calgary; sisters Mag (Alec) Hutchinson of Taber and Helen (Pete) Allen of Lethbridge.
She was predeceased by her husband Leo in 1987; sons David in 1998 and Ralph in 1999; brothers Mike, Tom and Joe and a sister Kay.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 13, 2001 at 6:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, July 14, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Thomas Vadassery celebrant. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
