Elmer was born on December 22, 1908 at the family farm near Bentley, the son of Jens and Marie Christiansen. On August 29, 1933 in Medicine Hat he married Mildred Brooks. They farmed near Turin for many years before moving to the Town of Vauxhall. For nearly the past twenty five years they have resided in Taber enjoying their retirement. His sense of humor and story telling will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
