1945 - 2001

Rose Marie Fairhurst passed away suddenly in Forestburg, Alberta on Tuesday, April 3, 2001 at the age of 56 years.
Our dear daughter, mother, grandmother and best friend was taken from us without a good-bye. Her cheerful laughter and energy will stay in our hearts forever. Those who knew her well loved her dearly - those who didn’t missed out. She always accepted people for who they were without passing judgement. The energy that surrounded her brought the best out in everyone she knew. Rose Marie was a very special part of our lives and will be missed every waking day.
Rose is loved and will be forever remembered by her parents Lloyd and Florence Filgas; her two daughters Rhonda (Cameron) Bruce and Roxzena McMillan (Wall); a son Paul Cameron; her grandchildren Candace Scott, Terry Scott, Amanda Wall, Bobbi Feko, Justin Feko, Shane Bruce and Cheyenne Bruce; four sisters, Shirley Burns, Lorraine (Jim) Peters, Patsy (Clarence) Friesen and Toni (Gary) Stevenson; two brothers, Larry (Jean) Melanson and Gary (Karen) Melanson. She will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and the many friends she had.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family for Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Taber Community Centre, 4720 - 50 Street, Taber on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.
