ANDREW FIEDLER

1912 - 1999

Andreas Fiedler of Taber beloved husband of the late Natalie Fiedler, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 1999 at the age of 87 years.
Andrew was born in Kurudschika, Romania on June 15, 1912. He came to Canada in 1952 and was employed by Cunningham & Shannon until his retirement in 1977. He married Natalie Fandrich on November 18, 1937 and was predeceased by her on March 10, 1989. In his leisure time Andrew loved gardening and taking care of his yard. The light of his life was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. When he was eighty five, he moved from his own home to the Clearview Lodge where he had resided until the time of his passing.
He leaves to cherish his memory his three children Ed (Judy) Fiedler of Taber, Hugo (Goldy) Fiedler of Lethbridge and Brigitte (Gordon) Layton of Taber; six grandchildren Connie (Scott) Boulton, Tony (Michelle) Fiedler, Leon (Alayne) Fiedler, Brad Fiedler, Trevor Layton and Tracy Layton; four great grandchildren Cole & Wyatt Fiedler, Jordyn Fiedler and Carly Boulton.
Besides his wife Natalie he was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends met with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, August 3, 1999 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, August 4, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Amison officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
