ERIC THORNTON

1910 - 2002

Eric Charles Thornton (formerly of Edmonton), passed away peacefully in Taber, Alberta on Monday, October 14, 2002.
Eric was born on May 10, 1910 in Edmonton.
He was predeceased by his wife, Olive, in 1993.
Eric leaves to mourn his passing, three children, Gerry Campbell of Taber, Barbara (John) McCalla of Davis, California and Jim (Giselle) Thornton of Calgary. Eric will be forever remembered by his seven grandchildren, Sandra (Ivan) Campbell of Lethbridge, Sharon (Ivan) Roberts of Taber, David (Tanya) Campbell of Ottawa, Sheila (Mike) Kurtz of Barnwell, Rob (Cynthia) McCalla of Madison, Wisconsin, Doug McCalla of Manteca, California and Gary (Hilary) McCalla of Sebastopol, California. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Eric’s family wishes to thank all of the health care workers at the Taber Continuing Care for their loving and compassionate care of Eric over the past three years. They are truly “angels” in all that they do.
