ANNE RIEPER

1924 - 2002

Anni-Maria Rieper of Taber, formerly of Vauxhall, beloved wife of the late Walter Rieper, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at the age of 78 years.
Anne was born at Hamburg, Germany on May 6, 1924. She came to Canada in 1951 with her husband Walter and daughter Renate and in 1952 the family moved to the Vauxhall area. Anne worked for Pak-Wel Produce until 1991 and in the spring of 1992 she moved to Taber where she resided at Pioneer Place.
NAnne will be sadly missed by her family of four children Renate (Ivan) Williams of Klawock, Alaska, Monica (Tom) Mannarino of Edson, Raymond Rieper (Diane Blair) of Coaldale and Harold (Erma) Rieper of Gleichen; six grandchildren David (Chantelle) Mannarino, Crystal (Adam) Kinniburgh, Kerry-Lynn Dougherty, Kevin Wiens, Karissa Wiens and Sandy (Hugh) Chislom; four great grandchildren Angus, Baylee, Drayden and Katie; a brother Herbert Borstelmann of Germany; a sister-in-law Hilda Kropius of Lethbridge and also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1979.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. Interment followed in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
