ROSE REMFERT

1951 - 2002

Rose Remfert, beloved wife of Ron Remfert of Taber, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2002 at the age of 50 years.
Rose was born in Austria on November 21, 1951, the second daughter born to Joe and Mary Krenn. She came to Canada with her parents and four year old sister Mary. She received her schooling in Taber and later married Ron Remfert on March 23, 1979. The couple resided in Taber where, along with her husband, she was active in managing the Royal Hotel. Rose’s passion in life was her family. She was proud of her children and enjoyed her role as a mother.
Rose will be forever remembered by her husband, Ron; children, Daniel, Ashley and Sarah all of Taber; her mother, Mary Krenn of Taber; three sisters, Mary Krenn of Taber, Annie (Stewart) Laing of Hanna and Eva (John) Bell of Taber; father and mother-in-law Ernest and Jeanne Remfert of Medicine Hat; and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Warren) Frerichs of Medicine Hat, Jo-Ann (Darrell) Christensen of Taber and Janice (Tom) Dickin of Calgary.
He was predeceased by her father Joe in June of 1999 and a brother Ernest.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, May 30, 2002 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, May 31, 2002 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Father Jim de los Angeles officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
