1919 - 2008

Beatrice Fern Christensen, beloved wife of the late George Alfred Christensen, passed away peacefully in Taber on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the age of 89 years.
Fern will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Dolores Christie of Lethbridge, Betty Christensen of Edmonton, Georgia (Norris) Iverson of Balzac and Verna (Eric) Tilleman of Taber; grandchildren Deborah, Karen, Robert, Jo-Ann, Bonnie, Paula, Brad, Brandi, Ryan and Carrie; twenty one great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and her sister Ethel Hill of Salem, Oregon.
She was predeceased by her parents LeRoy and Blanche Bowser; brothers Edgar, Albert and Victor; sisters Irene, Wanda, Dorothy, Kathryn and Pauline.
Fern was born on January 18, 1919 in Cereal, Alberta to LeRoy and Blanche Bowser. Her early years were spent at the homestead in Cereal. Fern later moved to the community of Wrentham where she met her husband and began her family. The young family moved to Stirling then to Taber where she has continued to reside until her passing.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family prior to the funeral service in the Relief Society Room of the church from 12:00 P.M. to 12:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with Bishop Mark Baldry conducting. A private family burial will follow at Archmount Cemetery, Lethbridge.
