LEE TURNBULL

1946 - 2003

Donald Lee Turnbull, beloved husband of Donna Turnbull of Grassy Lake, passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, October 3, 2003 at the age of 57 years.
Lee was born at Taber on May 5, 1946, the son of Wallace and Mary Turnbull. He received his schooling at Grassy Lake and on September 11, 1965 he married Donna Goruk. They farmed at Grassy Lake for the last 27 years until the time of his passing. Lee’s life was the farm and his family. Both were very near and dear to his heart, as was Donna’s family, “The Goruks”.
Lee will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife Donna of Grassy Lake; his mother Mary Turnbull of Taber; daughter Sheila (Peter) Gruenhage of Lethbridge; daughter-in-law Jacquie (Jim) Kuss of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren Brody Lee Turnbull, Austin Troy Gruenhage and Abigail Christa Gruenhage; sister Florence (Clarence) Kunz of Taber; three brothers Wallace (Atie) Turnbull of Stettler, Ken (Sharon) Turnbull of Lethbridge and Murray (Wanda) Turnbull of Raymond and numerous other relatives. He is also survived by Donna’s family Marilyn and Corrido, Ron and Judy, Gord and Pat and Shari and Bill.
He was predeceased by his father Wallace (Buck), son Troy and twin brother Lynn.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, October 6, 2003 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Westview Community Church, Grassy Lake on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Kris Peters officiating. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
