THEODORE KERKHOFF
1921 - 2003
Theodore (Ted) Edward Kerkhoff of Taber, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 21, 2003 at the age of 82 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor (Oly), companion, Lorraine Johnson, great granddaughter Tate Reese Kerkhoff-Blanchard, brother Art, sister-in-law Pat (Bernard), brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alvin (Diz) and Marg Isbister, brother-in-law Stan Huntrods, brother-in-law Mac Isbister, brother-in-law Harold (Duke) Huntrods and two nephews, Ken Isbister and Stewart Isbister.
Ted is survived by his four children; Julie Parry (Phil), David Kerkhoff (Marlene), Val Williams (Jerry) and Carol-Lee Neudorf (Rick); eight grandchildren; John Parry (Sandra), Jody Cook, Lana Morrison (Dean), Kyle Kerkhoff, Angie Kerkhoff (Scott), Dana Jensen (Ryan), Ayrton Neudorf and Mason Neudorf; eight great grandchildren; a sister Josephine Bonette (Jimmy), brothers Bernard (Marg), Everett (Larine), Leonard (Laurie) and numerous nieces and nephews.
After selling T.E. Kerkhoff Machine Works, Ted spent many happy years farming his land north of Taber. He took part in many sports throughout his lifetime including soccer, football, badminton, curling, baseball, bowling, golfing, tennis, hunting and fishing. Ted will be sadly missed by all of his family including the Jeri Berte family of Lethbridge and his many friends.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at 8:30 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 25 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
