CHARLES CRADDUCK

1917 - 2003

Charles Wesley Cradduck, beloved husband of the late Mildred Cradduck, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the age of 85 years.
Wes was born in Purple Springs on September 20, 1917, a son to Oscar and Adelaide Cradduck. He attended school at Hudson School. In 1942 he married Mildred Grigor. Wes farmed in the Purple Springs area for a number of years before retiring in 1974.
Wes will be remembered by his children, Marilyn Collins of Calgary, Evelyn (Gilbert) Henderson of Roseville, California, Raymond (Marilyn) Cradduck of Medicine Hat, Richard (Donna) Cradduck of High River and Brenda (George) Wright of Cardston; a daughter-in-law Diane Cradduck of Grassy Lake; twenty three grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Abell and Ruby (Henry) Danforth and a dear friend Mary Voller.
Besides his wife Mildred, Wes was predeceased by a son, Charlie and four grandchildren, Rob, Andrew, Sara and Jennifer.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, September 22, 2003 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Grassy Lake Community Hall on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed in the Prairieview Cemetery, Grassy Lake.
