ADELINE LANGKOPF

1907 - 1999

Adeline Langkopf passed away in Taber on Saturday, January 30, 1999 at the age of 91 years.
Adeline was born in the Ukraine on August 12, 1907 the daughter of Oswald and Efrosina Schmidt. She married Daniel Langkopf and they came to Canada with their children in May of 1954 settling in Turin. In 1957 they moved to Taber where Daniel passed away later that same year.
Adeline is survived by her children Wilma (Richard) Husch of Lethbridge, Ida (Rod) Cline of Taber and Eduard (Gerda) of Germany; two sisters and a brother-in-law all of Germany; two daughters-in-law Hazel Langkopf of Innisfree and Margaret Langkopf of Taber as well as fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren of Canada and numerous nieces and nephews in Germany and the United States.
Besides her husband Daniel, Adeline was predeceased by her parents, and sons Reinhold and Raymond and a grandson Daniel Husch.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, February 1, 1999 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ferdinand Drewin officiating. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
