FRANK KONDAS

1935 - 1998

Frank Kondas, beloved husband of Margaret Kondas, passed away on Monday, August 10, 1998 at the age of 62 years.
Frank was born to Frank Sr. and Esther Kondas on November 30, 1935 in Lethbridge. Being born and raised in Lethbridge, it was there that he married Margaret Varga on September 12, 1959. Frank was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus and also belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion. He loved to play cards and was especially fond of his grandchildren. As a devoted husband, father and grampa, Frank will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Besides his loving wife Margaret, he is survived by his children Damian (Chris) Kondas and their son Jordan of Calgary; Dawn Kondas of Taber; Justin Kondas of Barnwell and Tony (Brenda) Kondas and their daughter Charleigh of Fort Nelson, British Columbia. He is also survived by a sister Mary (Ed) Bruchet; a brother Steve (Josephine) Kondas of Coaldale; a brother-in-law Steve Bakos as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was predeceased by his parents and a sister Anne Bakos.
Relatives and friends met for Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, August 13, 1998 at 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 14, 1998 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Dominic Nguyen Celebrant. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
