LINDA ROMBOUGH
1914 - 1998
Linda Rombough, beloved wife of Walter Rombough of Taber, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 1998 at the age of 83 years.
Besides her husband Walter, she is survived by four children Marva Deonne (Keith) Barkley of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Glenda (Tom) Harris of Ben Lomond, California, Pat (Ethel) Hanna of Medicine Hat, and Lanny C. Bullock of New York; three stepchildren Pat (Eddy) Sparks, Ken (Arlene) Rombough and Sheron Rombough all of Taber; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; seven sisters Norma Alexander of Orem, Utah, Mae Cook of Brentwood, California, Doris (Adrian) McAndrews of Warner, Ruth (John) Otto of Lethbridge, Mary Zeddell of Lethbridge, Elra (Tony) Schoen of Warner and Larine (Everett) Kerkhoff of Taber; two brothers Vriel Hall of San Clemente, California and David R.(Ross) Hall of Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Joyce Talbot.
Linda was born at Taber April 27, 1914 and was the daughter of Absolom Moroni Hall and Myrtle Jane Rawson. She received her schooling at Taber and resided in the Barnwell and Coaldale area, later moving to Calgary. She resided in Mountain View, California and in 1969 returned to Canada. Linda married Walter Rombough on June 28, 1970 and they resided in Taber until the time of her passing.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, January 18, 1998 from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. and on Monday at the Taber Third Ward LDS Chapel, from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the Taber Third Ward LDS Chapel on Monday, January 19 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Richard Sugden Conducting. Interment followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
