Ernie Howlett

1936 - 2017

Ernest Hamilton Howlett, beloved husband of Agnes Howlett, passed away in Calgary on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80 years.

Those wishing to pay their respects were able do so prior to the funeral service at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 between 2:00 P.M. and 2:50 P.M.

The Funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 3:00 P.M.

Besides Agnes, his loving wife of sixty two years, Ernie is survived by his children Pat (Joe) Haws of Sherwood Park, Margaret (Jake) Giesbrecht of Coalhurst, Terry Howlett of Picture Butte, Betty (Marlin) Hill of Vauxhall, Gerald (Lorraine) Howlett of Calgary, Florence “Dolly” (David) Erskine of Bragg Creek, Shane Howlett of Taber, Jackie Pahl of Taber and daughter-in-law Lucy Howlett of Vauxhall. Ernie is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, sister Diane (Chuck) Herman and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Darren Howlett; grandsons Troy Kallen and Dustan Kallen; two brothers Lloyd (Joyce) Howlett and Stuart (Beverly) Howlett.
