Bonnie enjoyed and excelled at many creative endeavors such as sewing amazing Halloween costumes and creating elaborate birthday cakes for her children. She also enjoyed watching her sons and grandsons play hockey, singing in the choir and attending church.
Once her children were grown, she relocated from Taber to Calgary and Linden for a period of time where she worked in home care, for charity organizations as well as service and retail jobs. When her health failed Bonnie retired and eventually returned to Taber, where she lived her remaining years centered firmly in her faith, attending bible studies, church and enjoying time with her family.
