FUNERAL SERVICE AUDIO RECORDING

Jeanette Bareman

1957 - 2017

Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage. Psalm 84:5

On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, the Lord, in His infinite wisdom and time called unto Himself, Jeanette Bareman, our wife, sister, mother and oma, at the age of 59 years.

A private burial service was held at the Prairieview Cemetery, Grassy Lake prior to the funeral service.

The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M.

She is survived by her loving husband Marion and their six children James and Andrea Bareman and their family Megan, Blake, Cade, Mason and Allie; Jordan and Marie-Louise Bareman and their family Cohen, Ian, Shane and Joni; Julia Bareman; Patrick and Amanda Harthoorn; Neil Bareman; Dean Bareman. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family.

She was predeceased by her young son Eric, two sisters and her parents.

Jeanette was born in New Westminster, British Columbia to Jelle and Janette Vanderveen. She grew up on a farm in the Mud Bay area, the second youngest of six girls. In 1977 she was swept off her feet by a bachelor from Alberta, Marion Bareman and they married in November of 1979. They moved back to Alberta in the spring of 1981 to farm south of Grassy Lake with Marion's father and brother. They were blest with seven children.

Later on in life, mom surprised us with many new ventures, kayaking, scuba diving and even taking over Wood Travel when they moved off the farm. She adored her grandkids and was proud to take them all camping every summer. She loved to host and serve her brothers and sisters in the Lord. Mom spent her last few days at home in peace surrounded by loved ones.
